The Sugar Refinery Palace is located in the former
administrative building of the Rijeka Sugar Refinery, one of
the most impressive late Baroque buildings on the eastern
Adriatic coast. Restored and repurposed into a modern museum
space, today the Palace offers a permanent exhibition across
two floors, presenting the rich history of Rijeka from the
18th to the 21st century, with a focus on the city’s
industrial, social, and economic development. We carried out
the complete interior furnishing, tailored to the high
museological and aesthetic standards of this historic space.
The project included the precise production and installation
of furniture and specialised exhibition elements throughout
all museum levels.
